Good morning Hunter, your Mom is in my Bible study on Wednesday and when she told us you’d be doing a mission trip through Paradise bound I was so excited. I did a trip with J.Q.99 through Paradise bound in 2009, it was an amazing trip. My thoughts and prayers are with you Hunter and the team. Blessings, Pat Myers
matt and kate are wondering how you are doing? we hope you did not get sick. did you meet any special kids. are you tired?
Kate
Thank you everyone for blessings and prayers. let me tell you they have worked in ways that i thought could possibly ever happen. i have been influenced with joy in this place sooo much from the littlest things possible. I have been inspired by the kids here, especially by a little boy named Henry. Now Henry isnt the typical guatemalan child. He lives in a village where we are doing our building projects. He is by far the nicest boy I have met. Henry is deaf since he was born, because of being deaf he can not talk. except Henry and me have our own way of communicating. It is through the power of the Lord that Henry understands me when i need him too. I have just recovered from a three day illness where i felt the devil was behind in trying to make our team fall away from God. Altough this did not work the team have perservered through and is regaining strength. I will post later after I return from the work day today. Thank you for the support!

Hi Hunter
It is Thursday and I just learned that we can communicate with you. We did not know that you guys were leaving messages on the PC. Thank you for doing that and please thank your leader for the input. I am sure that the trip will change your outlook on life, like I mentioned to you before you left. Sorry you got sick there. The heat and humidity didn’t help, I am sure. It was also hot and humid here, but not today. Sat and Sun here are going to feel like down there—just a little coming home present. Your Mom asked us to pick you up at the school and bring you here. Is that OK with you?We pray for a safe trip home. I have been cutting lots of wood and brush for you to handle.
Love, Grandpa
Hi Hunter,
One more day there and you will be on your way home. Boy the week went fast and I hope that you have been blessed by working with the people. When we were in Dominican Republic, I had one little boy that I was fond of also. We were making caskets and he took a couple of pieces of wood and made a cross with it. He said Jesus died for me. He was about five years old.
Sorry to hear that you had the flu but hope you are feeling better now. I want to leave the verse found in Philippians 1:6 with you. He who began a good work in you will carry it on to Completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Looking forward to seeing you soon.
Love Ya, Grandma
Hi Hunter,
I hope you are not too sad to leave there. I am sure
you got very attached to people especially the kids.
You probably taught them a lot about faith and fun
ways to stay busy. What new sports do they now know
how to play? Grandpa and Grandma will pick you up
when you get back. Coach Benito wants to get together
with you soon.
I Love You,
Mom
